Underprivileged youths from slums and villages have a strong desire for computer training. However, due to persistent financial constraints they have been unable to reap the benefits of computer literacy. Our project provides computer training to youth in Microsoft Office programs.

India has a population of over 1.2 billion people, with only one-third of them being able to read and write. Some of the country’s most difficult challenges include population growth, shortages of teachers, books, and basic facilities.
Sria’s husband was taken to pull bricks out of the searing heat of the kiln, leaving her the grueling work of fitting hundreds of new blocks into their molds for the sun to bake dry. He tried to stay as long as he could, knowing their pay rested on how many bricks they turned out each day, but in the end, he didn’t have a choice.
