Computers have become an essential part of life in this era of Information Technology. The internet provides us information about anything at any time. In a country like India, computers are not available in the villages or city slums. The percentage of literacy in India is approximately 65% and computer literacy is approximately 6% which is a matter of great concern. Youth from the villages or slums are not in a position to learn or go to school. Most never receive a higher education later in life, which relies predominantly on computer education. We are making computer learning more accessible for the youths.
A ‘Digital Divide’ or ‘Digital Gap’ is an economic and social inequality with regard to access to, use of, or impact of information and communication technologies. A digital divide exists between rich and poor, corporate and government schools, students in village/slums and cities.

We at Global Helps Network have been raising the voices of children from marginalized communities in rural & slums areas for free access to basic computer education in our computer centers to minimize the disparity in their upbringing as compared to urban children. Computer-assisted education is helping children to build up the required confidence and narrow down the gap between urban and rural education. We are inspiring young minds through providing computer education and believe such confluence of inspiration shall have a lasting impact. Computer learning has the power to transform their education in a fundamental way. Computer learning holds significance for India.
Our Computer centers are now equipped with six computer systems. Along with computers, we are also training students in English using the Rachel-plus unit, which is a kind of library for the students that enables us to teach full academic and video courses in the rural regions that often have no access to electricity or the internet.
